Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 July 2026
The security addendum is specific to Kalasec; general terms follow.

Security addendum
- No guarantee of security. A Kalasec scan reports issues we detect at a point in time. No assessment can guarantee a website is secure or unbreakable, and a passing grade is not a warranty against breach.
- Authorisation. Only scan domains you own or are explicitly authorised to test. You are solely responsible for that authorisation.
- Free vs paid. Free scans read only publicly visible information (no intrusion). Paid active testing is performed only on domains you confirm you control.
- Fixes are advisory. Remediation steps are guidance; implementing and verifying them is your responsibility.
- Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalasec's liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for breaches, downtime, data loss, or consequential damages.
rule
Using Kalasec
- Scan only domains you own or are explicitly authorised to test — you are responsible for that authorisation.
- Don't disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service, or use it to harm others.
- One scan covers one target at the depth of the tier you purchased.
payments
Payment & refunds
- One-time scans (Free, Quick, Full, Complete) are charged once — no recurring fees.
- Monitor and Fix-as-a-Service are monthly subscriptions you can cancel anytime; cancelling stops future billing and is not pro-rated.
- If a paid scan fails to deliver through our fault, email us and we'll re-run it or refund it.
